Looking for something to do while visiting the Vail Valley?
Here are a few suggestions to help you make the most of your trip any time of year:
Winter
Ski the back bowls of the world-famous Vail and Beaver Creek Mountains. If you're
not experienced on the slopes, group and private lessons are available for all ages.
Or, try your hand at showshoeing, snowmobiling, or ice skating.
Spring
Vail and Beaver Creek Mountains stay open until nearly the end of April. Spring,
with its warm weather and soft snow makes for legendary ski conditions. Golf season
gets under way in late March at many courses and great, early season rates are
available.
Summer
On any given weekend during the summer, the Vail Valley hosts concerts, festivals
and family events. In addition, hiking, bikinb, golfing, rafting or kayaking are
just a sample of the outdoor adventures offered during the summer months.
Fall
Many favorite summertime activities can be continued will into the fall. There is
still abundant hiking and biking to be done. In addition, it's an ideal time to try
horseback riding or schedule a Jeep tour.
Anytime of the year:
Fly fishing, hot air balloon rides and horseback riding can be enjoyed year around.
